Welcome! Although we do not offer an on-line shopping facility we hope that this site will give you a flavour of the merchandise that we sell.
Elphicks can trace its history back to 1881 when George Elphick opened a drapery business at 13 West Street, Farnham. So started the history of Elphicks Department Store which still trades from the same location today.
Over the years the Store has expanded and developed and we currently trade from over 24,000 sq. ft. on two floors.
The business continued to be owned by the Elphick family until October 2004, when Elphicks was acquired by Tudor Williams (Holdings) Ltd, another family owned business. It is now part of a larger retail group with sales in excess of £13m and employing over 200 staff.
The Group also has under the trading name Tudor Williams, a Department Store in New Malden, Bed and Linen Branches in Cobham and Dorking and, under Knights of Reigate, another Department Store acquired in September 2006.
The Group is a member of AIS, the largest independent non food buying group in the UK with over 500 stores. We benefit from purchasing ecomonies of scale and can offer Customers a wide range of merchandise at very competitive prices.
Opening Hours
Elphicks is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 5.30pm. We are closed on all Sundays and most Bank Holidays.
